What are the impacts of moving your big data to the cloud?

Undoubtedly every big data solution is moving to the cloud. How this is going to affect the business networks and performance is a major concern for everyone and hence needs a careful evaluation of what the major benefits and advantage of the cloud services are.

Most of the reason for the cloud adoption is the performance levels and hence require the network management easier, outsourcing the system management, user- friendliness. Having some network resources outside of the in-house design, the administrator can focus and allowing them to produce more productive work.

The security side of the cloud is also the primary concern and may not has much of a positive impact. Generally, as long as your cloud service provider implement and is proactive regarding the several security controls and patch updates, there won’t be any downside on the cloud adoption. Most of the service providers fail to update and implement security thus making the cloud prone to several vulnerabilities. The most prone cloud is the public cloud where all the internal data of the client company is stored next to the data of the other company. Several other problems need to be solved, and the cloud service provider needs to assure that their specific data sets that need to be separated and thus kept the right security to prevent hacking and unauthorized access to some other competitors. Most of the companies are often worried about the security of the public cloud hosting the multitenant and prefer choosing other clouds like hybrid and private clouds over public clouds.
